The deep purple of the Affrican amethyst pairs so charmingly with the iridescence of the labradorite. For this elegant chandelier pair, I have combined a high quality faceted rectangle amethyst pair with multi-sheen custom-cut labradorite long dangles from Madagascar. This labradorites pair has the most beautiful almost neon mint-like iridescence. I have further accentuated the pair using small amethyst and labradorite faceted rounds.
I have crafted this pair using:
1 pair of natural untreated African amethyst faceted rectangles (approx. 15 carats, 22X12mm)
1 pair of natural untreated Madagascar labradorite dangles (56X4X4mm, 4.7g)
20 natural untreated labradorite faceted rounds (6X6X4mm)
20 natural untreated African faceted rounds (6X4 to 5X3.5mm)
4 gold-plated sterling silver pinches
All metal used (exept from the 4 pinches) is 14K yellow gold-filled (brass base, nickel and lead free, containing 1/20th real gold which is bonded, not just plated/painted on, Made in the USA, very durable)
Drop: aapprox. 9cm (including the ear wire)
