I absolutely adore opals, I personally consider them to be the most unique and charming out of all gems. They have a kaleidoscope of shimmering colours within them, making those gems magical. The ancient Greeks actually believed that opals give their owners the gift of prophecy and guard them from disease. They actually considered opals to be the tears that Zeus wept and reached the ground, after his victorious war against his father Cronus and the other Titans.
I have hand-crafted this necklace using the following hand-picked materials:
Natural no-treatment Ethiopian Welo fire opal smooth rondelles (47 carats)
Natural morganite faceted flat rondelles (160.75 carats)
14K solid yellow gold lobster clasp amd ring
14K solid yellow gold elements and stardust beads
Total length: approx. 60cm
